Case Study: Overhauling the Digital Experience
& Modernizing Brand Value
How I helped transform an established acting business through website UX, automation, paid growth, SEO, and a more modern visual language.
When I stepped into my role at One on One / Next Level, the business already had real value, a strong reputation, and meaningful programming, but its digital presentation and marketing systems did not fully reflect that. The website experience felt dated, the funnel had clear opportunities for modernization, SEO was underdeveloped, and several parts of the customer journey relied on older processes that left growth on the table.
My role became much bigger than traditional marketing execution. I helped modernize how the business looked, how it communicated, how it captured and re-engaged leads, and how it positioned itself for future growth.

The Challenge
The core issue was not just demand. It was infrastructure, presentation, and customer journey. Client demand dwindled due to the pandemic as well as the dual strikes impacting all entertainment industries. Survival for this businesses relied on client acquisition.

What I Changed
1. Modernized the Website and Digital Experience
I helped move the company from a more barebones, outdated web presence to a cleaner, more modern digital experience. This included UX improvements, stronger layout and presentation decisions, and front-end collaboration using HTML and CSS to improve how the brand looked and felt online.
This work was not just visual. It was about helping the business present itself with more clarity, trust, and professionalism.
2. Improved the Membership and Sales Funnel
I helped create a new membership application process powered by email and text automation, making it easier to move leads through the funnel and reduce drop-off. I also restructured parts of the digital engagement system and created automated follow-up sequences designed to re-capture leads who had gone cold.
This helped turn more attention into action and created a more intentional customer journey.
3. Built Stronger Growth Channels
I managed Google Ads budget and optimization efforts, contributing to 30% of new client growth in 2026 through paid acquisition alone. I also introduced text marketing as a new sales and communication channel and helped improve overall funnel performance through modernization and stronger digital best practices.
4. Established a Real SEO Foundation
When I started, the team had little real SEO knowledge or infrastructure in place. I helped establish a stronger SEO foundation, and over time the company improved to the No. 2 search result for its own company name — a meaningful signal of stronger digital visibility and search presence.
5. Elevated Brand Value Through Better Design
A major part of the work was improving how the business communicated its value visually. Through stronger design choices, a more modern web presentation, and better brand consistency, I helped create a more contemporary visual language that made the business feel more aligned with the level it was already operating at.
6. Integrated AI Into the Team in a Practical Way
Rather than approaching AI as a threat to staff, I helped analyze where it could be useful and introduced it in a thoughtful, team-friendly way. I also created a custom AI agent that supported company operations across copywriting, technical writing, ideation, and systems analysis for leadership.
Results
